PvP rewards with Tournament reward tokens - Guild Wars Forums

We all know that for example if I want to buy a Fancy armor piece I must have purchased 50 pieces of Basic armor on my account, what I am not sure is if basic armor pieces that I buy on pve (without tournament reward points) also count for those 50 pieces I have to buy to unlock the Fancy armor pieces.

Please help me out

You must purchase 50 basic pieces with tournament reward points if you want to purchase fancy armour.

Ok but it seems that I am already able to buy fancy armor and I never bought any basic armor piece
